George Chester Glover(Buddy) took his flight into glory on December 19, 2020 at SRMC. He was born on September 13, 1941 to the late Chester and Julia Glover.
Mr. Chester Glover was very well known in the community and loved by everyone who came in contact with him. He loved to sit on the front porch and wave, laugh and talk with people as he drank his cold Pepsi. He attended the Public Schools of Robeson County. He work at SRMC for years and this is where he met the love of his life, the apple of his eye, the one and only true love, MS. Shirley Glover. He was a very family oriented man and worked several jobs to provide for his family before retiring from Willamette Industries.
Mr. Chester Glover joined Pleasantview Baptist Church at an early age where he remained faithful until his health declinded.
Mr. Chester Glover leaves to cherish his memories: the love of his life MS. Shirley Glover; three children: Monique Sessoms(Jacksonville, NC), Peggy (Parish) Temoney of the home, Shirley Jones (Fayetteville, NC); two brothers: Harold (Ann) Glover and James Glover all of Greensboro, NC; several sister-in-law; several brother-in-law but one special brother-in-law: Mr. James McKinnon of Lumberton; eight grandchildren: Candace Sessoms of Jacksonville, NC, Elton Sessoms II of Charlotte, NC, Eshelle Clark of Lumberton, NC, Victoria, Ashleigh and Amber Clark all of Tuscan, Arizona, Brittney Glover of Buffalo, NY and Alex Jones of Charlotte, NC; a special nephew, Gene L. Glover of Lumberton; two special nieces: Carolyn Medley and Beverly Thompson both of Lumberton, NC; a special family member, Elton Sessoms of Mississippi.
