Born Lumberton, NC February 1940. James expired on Friday March 13, 2020 in Long Island New York at mighty age 80. He is preceeded in death by his parents, brothers, sisters, and notably his childhood sweetheart Sally Inetha Martin whom he married in the late 1950's. James, or as many in the family affectionately called him, Hubert, will be missed while he rests in peace. He leaves behind a host of sons, daughters, grand. great-grands

Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday March 21 at 11:00 AM. At Celebration of Life By Leggett-Patterson Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 2hr prior Service.
