"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." - Psalm 34:18
Christine B Faison, born to the late Sam and Clementine Barfield on November 21, 1968, in Robeson County, graced this world with her presence until May 2nd, when she peacefully departed from her home. A devoted member of the South Lumberton Church of Christ, Christine lived a life of service as a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
As the sun rose on November 21, 1968, Christine began her journey, and on May 2nd, 2024, she peacefully completed it, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and generosity that will be remembered for generations to come.
Christine's life was a testament to selflessness and love, always placing the needs of others before her own. Her unwavering dedication to caring for those around her left an indelible mark on the lives she touched, and her memory will continue to be a source of comfort and inspiration.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved sisters, Annie Campbell and Berchisannie (James) McKenith, and her brother, Jimmy Barfield, along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and church family who were touched by her compassion and warmth.
