In Loving Memory of Mr. Clyde “Charlie” Carlie Honeycutt
Sunrise: June 12, 1951 – Sunset: April 19, 2025
With deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of Mr. Clyde “Charlie” Carlie Honeycutt, affectionately known as “Bub” to his siblings, who departed this life peacefully at his home on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the age of 73. Born June 12, 1951, in Randolph County, North Carolina,
Mr. Honeycutt spent many meaningful years in Parkton, North Carolina, where he became known and loved for his Southern spirit — humble, hardworking, and full of heart. He was a true Carolina country man, best known for his love of pit-cooked barbecue, a skill he mastered in his early years and shared with family, friends, and neighbors. Later in life, he developed a passion for motorcycles, embracing the freedom of the open road with the same ease and boldness that marked his way of living.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Samuel Honeycutt; his mother, Ethel Alberta Callicutt Honeycutt; his sister, Linda Cleckler; his brother, Mitchell Honeycutt; and his beloved wife, Mary Lee Lewis Honeycutt.
Mr. Honeycutt is survived by two children, Charles Worthington Honeycutt and Crissie Michelle Honeycutt; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. His legacy is one of strength, generosity, and a deep love for family, food, and fellowship.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Celebrations of Life by Leggett-Patterson Funeral Home, where it is our highest honor to serve the Honeycutt family during this sacred time of remembrance.
