Denise Lavonne Argoe

Ms. Denise L. Argoe, age 60 of Maxton, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2023, at Southeastern Hospice House. She was born on December 2,1962, in Walterboro, South Carolina, to her loving parents.

Denise will be remembered as a caring and devoted mother to her two children, Candice DeMers and Aaron Jones, who were the light of her life. She was a hardworking and compassionate woman who dedicated her life to her family and friends. During her last years of life, Denise resided in NC with her dedicated partner and caregiver, Arty Smith. Denise will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A Memorial Service will be held in her honor on 4/22/23 with family and friends on Edisto Island at sunset. Please contact Candice or Aaron for further details if you wish to attend.
