Jerry A.k.a. "10-8" Cooper departed this Earthly life and entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 12, 2021, at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center on Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, North Carolina after a short illness. He was preceded in death by his late father, Hebert Cooper, Sr., late mother, Lillie McRae Cooper, and late brothers Clifton Cooper,
Herbert Cooper, Jr. and David Cooper .
Jerry attended Robeson County School System. He went on to serve his country both, in the active Army and the NC National Guard. He later attended Robeson Technical Community College.
He worked in many jobs as a handyman helping people with pluming electrical problems, Masonry and other needed repairs.

"10-8" Cooper leaves to cherish his memories: Three sisters, Ruby Lee Thompson of Asheboro, NC, Alberta Thompson of Lawrenceville, GA, Betty Johnson of Lumberton NC, one brother; Robert McRae (Clara) of Spring Lake, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
