In Loving Memory of Mr. Luther “Luke” Holifield, III.
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Luther Holifield,III, lovingly known as Luke, on August 15, 2025. At the blessed age of 65, Luke peacefully transitioned from this life to be with the Lord.
Born on September 29, 1959, in Baltimore, Maryland, Luke was the cherished son of the late Luther Holifield, Jr. and Joan Arrington. He was the devoted brother of Sherry, Sandra, Ganita and Shavonne. He was preceded in death by his sister Diana and one brother, Cedric.
Luke truly loved and enjoyed his family. He found great joy in the company of his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins, who will forever hold him in their hearts. His legacy of love, laughter, and strength will remain an inspiration to all who knew him.
Cherished Memories
Luke leaves to celebrate his life and legacy:
His loving wife of 44years Glynis Holifield
His beloved children: Tasha, Shanen, Christen, and Brandon
His grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will continue to honor his name

A Life of Faith and Love
