Michael Anthony Burns

Michael A. Burns was born in Lumberton, North Carolina, to the late James L. Burns and Nellie M. Burns, who instilled in him the values of strength, independence, and love for family. Known for his free spirit and warm personality, Michael had a deep love for horses and found great joy in their beauty and the peaceful connection they brought to his life.

He will be remembered for his laughter, his stories, and the many memories shared with his brothers, sisters, extended family, and friends whose lives he touched along the way. Though he has departed this earthly life, his spirit and the love he shared will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A memorial gathering in honor of Michael A. Burns will be held on March 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
