Bowing in humble submission to the will of our Heavenly Father, the staff of Celebrations of Life by Leggett-Patterson Funeral Home announces the peaceful transition of Mr. Samuel Clifton Reid, who entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 25, 2024.

The Reid family will receive visitors during a Visitation on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Celebrations of Life by Leggett-Patterson Funeral Home, located at 320B East. 24th St., Lumberton, NC. This time is set aside for family, friends, and loved ones to gather in reflection and share fond memories of Mr. Reid, offering their love and support to his grieving family.

A Triumphant Farewell Ceremony to honor and celebrate Mr. Reid’s life will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Panthers Ford Presbyterian  Church, located at 10010 NC-211, Red Springs, NC 28377. Following the service, Mr. Reid will be escorted to his final resting place in a procession befitting the life he lived and the legacy he leaves behind.

As difficult as it will be to say farewell to Mr. Reid, all who knew and loved him will find solace in knowing he now rests in the arms of the Almighty, where there is peace beyond measure.
